In this September 20 message, Pastor Dale teaches about the consequences of the choices we make and the biblical principle that we reap what we sow. Beginning in Galatians 5, he considers Paul’s warning to believers who had once been “running well” but had allowed themselves to be hindered and led away from obedience. He then turns to the story of Achan in Joshua 6–7, whose deliberate decision to take what God had forbidden brought consequences not only upon himself but upon the people around him. The message challenges us to recognize temptation early, before it grows into desire and deliberate disobedience. Galatians 6 reminds us that those who sow to the flesh reap corruption, while those who sow to the Spirit reap everlasting life. Following Christ requires daily choices. Through God’s grace and mercy, we can surrender our thoughts, desires, and actions to Him and continue choosing God in all things.
