Beginning in Proverbs 3 and continuing to the wedding at Cana in John 2, he looks at Mary’s faith as she brought a need to Jesus and trusted Him even without knowing how He would respond.
Faith does not require us to understand how God will work—it requires us to trust the One who can. When we stop limiting God to the solutions we can imagine, we can surrender our circumstances to Him and believe that His way may be greater than anything we had planned.
The message also challenges us to care enough about the needs of others to bring them before God in prayer. Whatever situation life places before us, we can come to Jesus, lay it down, and trust Him with the outcome.
